Outcast (PC)

In 1999, Outcast showed what a foreign world could feel like: on Adelpha, the Talan talk about you, the weather keeps changing, and no one holds your hand.

Condition: Very good. Jewel case with slight signs of wear on the edges and back, disc in mint condition with no visible scratches, cover and inlay complete and free of creases.
Single item. You will receive the exact copy shown in the photos.

The engine uses heightfield raycasting instead of 3D acceleration. This explains the distinctive, soft look for which the title is known to this day. The soundtrack by Lennie Moore was recorded by the Moscow Symphony Orchestra; GameSpot named Outcast Adventure of the Year in 1999.

Note regarding extras: I provide any enclosed codes (download, DLC, season pass, online or bonus codes) solely as a free addition with no assigned value. I cannot verify whether they are still redeemable – they may have already been used or may have expired. Redeemability is not part of the agreed condition and is not included in the price.

Note regarding compatibility: The title was developed for systems standard at the time of its release. On current Windows versions, older PC games sometimes only run via workarounds – such as compatibility mode, community patches, DOSBox, or a virtual machine – or not at all. Functionality on current hardware is not part of the agreed condition.

I cannot provide technical support regarding installation, activation, compatibility, or patches.
