Yukino Miyazawa is the perfect student—as long as no one sees her at home lying on the floor in sweatpants. When Soichiro Arima challenges her for the top spot, her carefully maintained image crumbles and something more honest begins. Hideaki Anno directs this love story using manga panels, still images, and pacing shifts that few would have dared to use in 1998. This DVD contains episodes 11 to 13.
